HAIKU

I gave myself a Haiku challenge, which was to write a Haiku about winter without using the words winter, snow or cold.
Enjoy!

WINTER

Blank carpet of white
Frigid, arctic temperatures
Day turns into night.

HAIKU

HAIKU
A Happy New Year
Is my wish to one and all
Expecting great things

Haiku

Raging Hurricane
Mercilessly Rampaging
Elements at War

I pray for all those affected by Hurricane Sandy, I pray for comfort, peace and restoration. May the souls of the departed rest in peace.

Haiku

Once again, I gave myself a challenge: to write a Haiku about fall, without the words, fall, autumn or leaves.
Enjoy!

Now drop to the ground
Once green, turn yellow, brown, red
Crisp carpet of change.

Haiku

Red dusk sun setting
The day is old, night is young
The moon out to play

hAiKu

I gave myself a challenge of a Haiku that rhymes, about the sunset, without the words sun or sunset.

Enjoy!

Fading into  night

Red glowing ball of  pure light

Now it’s out of sight

JESUS(Haiku)

A Savior once born,
Lived, died, rose to save mankind,
A Judge to become.
